Wash your hands, they say
Surely that is common sense
Apparently not

Please keep your distance
Don’t you come too close to me
But I want a hug

Sitting in our lounge
Cooking, movies, work from home
This is not so bad

Vienna will wait
As will Paris and Berlin
But first, pitch a tent

Time to buy some food
Walking up and down the aisles
I should wear a mask

~~

The heroes we need
In the hospitals and labs
Thank you and be safe
